Circle Suppers

Circle Suppers bring small groups together for cooperative dinners or brunches once per month.  Members, friends & visitors (couples & singles) are encouraged to join Circle Suppers.  We meet for Lunch or Dinner the 4th Sat of each month.  It’s also a great way for Visitors to check us out.  We have a list of substitutes, to be called if the Host or one of the guests can’t make a dinner.  If you prefer, you can just sign up for the Substitute Only list.

Each month you have an opportunity to get to know (or know better) 6-8 UU’s  over a nice, relaxing Lunch or Dinner.  Meeting interesting UUs or friends of UUs on a Sat will make a cup of coffee or tea after the Sun service a lot more enjoyable.

Interested?  Here are the Circle Suppers rules:

Lunches or Dinners normally meet the 4th Sat of each mth or a date the host chooses.  One couple or person is the host, providing the meeting place and coordinating (who brings what, etc).  Unless you request it (and some have), you’ll only host a couple of times a year.
If you don’t have the room or just can’t host at this time, it’s not a problem.  You can be a guest only.  Just note that on the signup sheet.  If your situation changes, you can ask to occasionally host at a later date or host smaller groups.
The host usually provides the home, appetizers and drinks (wine, cokes, etc).  Guests provide the main dish, salad/veggies or dessert.  Hosts work with the guests to decide who will bring what. 
The schedule for the Lunches/Dinners is e-mailed to you each month.  Hosts & guests are noted with phone numbers.  If you can’t go to a scheduled Dinner, please get a replacement off the sub list or your Host can just invite someone else.
If you’re not available for the 4th Sat of a specific month, let me know.  If you’d like to host on a specific month, let me know.  If you sign up as a Sub Only, you decide whether or not you go when someone calls to see if you can sub for them.
