This is a holy week for many of us in this nation. For some of us it is a time to give thanks for all that we have, be it much or be it little. For some it is a time to remember to forgive for past tragedies. For all, it is a time to gather.
To gather all that has been planted and grown.
To gather the special dishes filled with memories.
To gather together all of the loved ones in our lives, in spirit, in remembrance, and in person.
To gather all the good will we owe one another whether they deserve it or not.
To gather the food that we love to eat together.
To gather the blessings of the earth, air, water, and fire.
To gather the laughter of those who share our company.
To gather is to create more than what we can see in one room.
To gather all of these; to gather the spirit, once again.
