Every religion has a lifestyle consistent with its beliefs. Unitarian Universalists have been fond of touting freedom, reason, and tolerance as characteristics of our religious lifestyle. But is this accurate? I assert that it is not. I will seek to explain why this is the case and to reveal what I believe to be three characteristics that more accurately reflect our religious identity.
